Hi! My name is Amy, and I am the sole owner of When Butter met Sugar.
My home business has been running since April 2021. I decided to start When Butter met Sugar after my hobby began to gain in popularity over lockdown. I have loved baking from a young age and have always dreamed of owning my own cake and coffee shop.
I specialise in celebration cakes; however, I also make a range of other sweet treats including brownies, cupcakes, truffles etc.
I studied Level 2 Bakery and Level 3 Professional Bakery at Sheffield college. I also got a certificate in food safety and manufacturing
I have a masters in cake decorating, this includes a diploma in sugar paste, royal icing and sugar flowers
I have a certificate in food hygiene and safety and a certificate in allergen safety.
